Purpose

The TMJDirectory Founding Member Program recognizes a select group of professionals who believe in improving access to quality TMJ care through education, collaboration, and responsible community leadership. Founding Members help shape the growth of TMJDirectory during its early stages while serving as respected voices within the TMJ community.

Participation is voluntary and does not create an employment, agency, partnership, franchise, joint venture, or representative relationship with TMJDirectory.

Founding Member qualifications

Founding Members are individuals who actively contribute to the TMJ community through one or more of the following:

Acceptance into the program is determined solely by TMJDirectory.

Founding Member benefits

While actively participating in the program, Founding Members receive:

Benefits are personal to the approved Founding Member and may not be transferred or sold.

Our shared mission

Founding Members agree to help build a trusted national resource that connects individuals with licensed professionals offering services related to TMJ and orofacial care. The emphasis is on education, collaboration, professionalism, and ethical growth, not aggressive marketing or solicitation.

Professional expectations

Founding Members agree to:

Online conduct

Because Founding Members are publicly associated with TMJDirectory, members agree to:

Constructive criticism, professional discussion, and evidence-based disagreement are welcomed when conducted respectfully.

Promotion expectations

Founding Members are encouraged, but not required, to help introduce TMJDirectory to professionals and the public through authentic engagement. Examples include sharing educational content, referring qualified professionals, sharing directory resources, providing thoughtful feedback, and inviting colleagues to participate.

TMJDirectory does not expect or encourage spam, excessive promotion, misleading advertising, or pressure-based marketing.

Use of Founding Member status

The Founding Member designation recognizes participation in the early development of TMJDirectory. It does not indicate clinical certification, advanced professional credentials, board certification, professional endorsement, or preferred provider status.

Members may display the Founding Member badge only while participating in the program and in accordance with the Brand & Trademark Usage Guidelines.

Independence

Founding Members remain independent businesses. Nothing in this Agreement authorizes a Founding Member to speak on behalf of TMJDirectory, make promises for TMJDirectory, enter into contracts on behalf of TMJDirectory, or represent themselves as employees, agents, or official spokespersons.

Removal from the program

TMJDirectory may suspend or remove Founding Member status if a member violates this Agreement, engages in dishonest or unethical conduct, loses required professional licensure where applicable, uses the TMJDirectory name in a misleading manner, or engages in conduct that materially harms the reputation or mission of TMJDirectory. Removal may include revocation of the Founding Member badge and associated program benefits.

Program changes

TMJDirectory may modify the structure or benefits of the Founding Member Program as the platform evolves. Any changes will be communicated to participating members. TMJDirectory will honor any lifetime benefits it has expressly committed to, unless those benefits are forfeited due to a material violation of this Agreement.

Acceptance

By accepting Founding Member status, whether electronically through the provider dashboard or in writing, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Agreement and agree to participate in the Founding Member Program in accordance with these expectations. This Agreement works alongside the Terms of Use, the Provider Participation Agreement, and the Provider Code of Conduct.
